Victorian utility seeking CCTV technology for underground sewers

The technology will be used to inspect and measure a network of approximately 150 km of trunk sewers that are greater than 2 m in diameter and ranging in depth from 5 m to 80 m.

Melbourne Water is interested in technologies that can be operated remotely to measure and assess the condition of concrete sewer pipes. Sensors that can measure humidity, airflow, temperature, pH and wall thickness, would also be of interest.

EOIs opened on 6 April and will close at 2 pm on Wednesday 18 May 2016. Information related to the EOIs can be found via the Tenders Victoria website.
