The NSW event follows a successful Victorian ASTT Technical Forum which was held on 7 April at the Watermark in Melbourne’s Docklands.

This event was attended by approximately 60 trenchless professionals including representatives from several utilities, engineering and design firms, as well as contractors and manufacturers.

The Victorian forum featured three presentations:

  • Cameron Woodgate (John Holland) and Robert Fittock (Yarra Valley Water) speaking on the Amaroo Main Sewer Project
  • Andrew Edwards (City West Water) speaking on the Waverley Street water main renewal – a 3.2 km sliplining project of a 600 mm riveted main through Essendon and Moonee Ponds
  • David Dodemaide (Interflow) speaking on Melbourne Water’s Northwest Sewer Rehabilitation – the rehabilitation of a large diameter section of sewer main in Moonee Ponds.

The event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Ditch Witch and The Drain Man.

This was the first of several Victorian ASTT events for 2016, with the next Technical Forum scheduled for 24 June.
