Recently, BTB has been contracted to construct pressure sewer systems in Tynong and Nar Nar Goon in Victoria. Sewage will flow along transfer mains to the existing sewerage system in Garfield, from where it will flow to the Longwarry Sewage Treatment Plant.

Approximately 3.3 km of pressure sewer mains will be constructed in the Tynong Township, with works being carried out by horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Works commenced in mid-August and are expected to be completed in early December of this year.

The Nar Nar Goon sewerage reticulation involves approximately 6.1 km of pressure sewer mains, also to be constructed using HDD. Construction is planned for November of this year, with works expected to be completed in early April 2009.

In other works in Victoria, BTB has installed conduits and pits on a Victrack project in Greensborough. The work involves a variety of trenching and specialised HDD bores.
