DTH appoints NSW State Manager

DTH Products has appointed Todd Armstrong as State Manager for New South Wales, working out of the Sydney office.

Mr Armstrong comes to DTH with over 16 years of technical sales management and business development experience. Previously Todd worked for Fallshaw Wheels and Castors as Sales Manager for NSW and ACT, where he worked closely with the mining, infrastructure, construction and heavy manufacturing industries.

Prior to Fallshaw, Mr Armstrong worked for Fire Response as National Sales Manager and Transpacific Industries Group as their Southern Regional Sales Manager. Both of these roles required a high level of project management with the latter primarily focused on liquid (chemical) waste removal. Todd also comes to DTH with a solid mechanical background.

Mr Armstrong’s primary role at DTH will be to develop the NSW business while engaging with our customers to ensure a high level of service and technical support is delivered through our national technical support team.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Armstrong said “The role at DTH is certainly a challenging one that I look forward to getting stuck into. I’m looking forward to using my experience to develop sales in New South Wales to a new level and to provide more people with the products that DTH supplies.“

Trevor James: 14 years

DTH would also like to extend congratulations and a big thank you to Key Account Manager, Trevor James, who recently entered his fourteenth year at the company.

When Mr James started with DTH, the company was only 18 months old. He joined founder Ken Hurst in sales and warehousing, and eventually as business grew, so did the staff level and the number of branches of nationwide. Today, Mr James looks after the company’s key clients. He is also the ADIA Queensland Branch President in his spare time – a post that he has held for five years.

Commenting on his anniversary, Mr James said “Working at DTH has been a great opportunity and every day is different. I enjoy working in the industry and with the people who make it all worthwhile.”

Website relaunch

DTH Products has relaunched its website – www.dthproducts.com – with a new look and new features.

The site has been designed to give customers and the drilling industry an insight into the company as well as the products that it supplies.

Some of the new website features include an online catalogue with a selection of products for users to browse; a quote request facility so that customers can request details on a number of products at once; and a company blog, giving visitors an insight into what goes on at DTH, such as HDD Specialist Greg Ivanovic’s recent trip to America where he visited suppliers and attended mud school.
