No-Dig Down Under 2011

Congratulations go out again to Chris Bland, Managing Director of Great Southern Press, for all the work he and his team have done to put together the ASTT’s 9th national conference and exhibition.

No-Dig Down Under 2011 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3–6 October. It promises to be yet another successful event with more than 40 industry experts and leaders presenting, and an exhibition of over 65 exhibitors showcasing the latest in products and services.

These events are dependent upon the participation of delegates and exhibitors, but one should not forget the generosity of our sponsors. To this end, a very special thank you is directed towards these companies, particularly Interflow, who is our major Platinum sponsor. Interflow continues to show its support for ASTT events, clearly demonstrating its commitment to the promotion of Trenchless Technology throughout Australasia.

I would also like to thank the other key sponsors: Vermeer (Gold Sponsor), Insituform Pacific, Kembla Watertech and Zueblin (Silver sponsors), and HOBAS and the Bothar Group (Bronze sponsors).

This year we also have sponsorship from Murphy Pipe and Civil and I, on behalf of the ASTT, thank all of you for your sponsorship support. Sponsorship support is extremely important and the ASTT appreciates this commitment towards assisting us with the promotion of Trenchless Technology throughout Australasia.

20th anniversary book

The ASTT is pleased to report that thanks to the tireless efforts of Kate Pemberton and Laura Harvey, our 20th anniversary book Trenchless Technology in Australasia: Celebrating 20 Years of the ASTT has been published. I would personally like to congratulate Kate and Laura, and the team at Great Southern Press, on their efforts in putting this great book together for the ASTT – and our industry.
