The new office in China will be headed by Daisy Liu, who has worked with the company since 2009. Ms Liu’s knowledge of Chinese markets will help Great Southern Press provide customised marketing solutions to promote trenchless companies in this rapidly growing market.

China is a hub for national and international equipment manufacturing companies, and machinery such as horizontal directional drills are an important part of market development.

With major water and wastewater pipeline projects under construction, including 100,000 km of new municipal pipelines installed each year and 300,000 km in need of rehabilitation urgently, Ms Liu will be able to help provide readers with up-to-date information on projects around the region.

Ms Liu will leverage her networks within China and provide on the ground advice.

The new Qingdao office complements Great Southern Press offices in Houston, London, Toronto and Melbourne.
