HDD capabilities, according to Vemeer’s Jim Rankin

Vermeer’s Global Segment Manager Jim Rankin will join other industry experts at No-Dig Down Under 2011, taking place in Brisbane from 3-6 October.
Mr Rankin has been with Vermeer for 34 years has a vast knowledge of industrial equipment.
He was the project leader in developing the first commercially marketed drill by Vermeer and for the past 24 years, Mr Rankin’s focus has been on the Vermeer HDD rigs.
Mr Rankin will be delivering a session on ‘The impact of drill rod specifications on the capabilities of an HDD rig’ at 1.30 pm on Tuesday, 4 October.
He will be joining other specialists for No-Dig Down Under’s HDD-focused sessions.

Prior to working with HDD equipment, Mr Rankin was involved with the development of Vermeer’s Utility Products and track equipment.
His innovative thinking has earned Mr Rankin the right to 14 patents.
He currently delivers the Vermeer vision through extensive travel – domestically and internationally – meeting the business needs of the company’s customers and dealers.
