With experience in strategic planning, civil and structural design, asset maintenance and water and sewerage network operations, Mr Farrell has experienced all facets of engineering at Queensland Urban Utilities.
He has been with the company for more than ten years and has conducted numerous condition assessments of water and sewerage assets and made recommendations regarding rehabilitation options.
Mr Farrell’s presentation will focus on one condition assessment project in particular – the inspection of 9.5 km of PVC lined 1,370 mm diameter mild steel cement lined pipeline.
The project utilised a range of condition monitoring techniques, which will be explained during the session.
