The company operates additional factories in Adelaide, Perth and Rangiora (NZ), with sales and warehouse facilities in all states as well as agents in the Northern Territory.

In addition to these PE pipe factories, the company also has a corrugated pipe factory in Brisbane where pipe for drainage, rock anchor sheathing and electrical conduiting is extruded.

A number of companies in Australia produce PE pipe within the parameters of the Australian Standards, but PPI’s PE pipe is well respected by both installers and fabricators as being “the pick of the bunch” when quality issues such as material, dimensional accuracy and lack of ovality are essential to a professional result.

With this in mind, PPI’s current capacity of 500 mm is being lifted to 800 mm with the purchase of a new extrusion line due for commissioning shortly in our Brisbane factory.

PE pipe from PPI has been used extensively in the irrigation, rural and plumbing markets for many years. The company’s market penetration has grown to include the mining, industrial and civil markets in recent years.

PPI’s metric PE100 PE pipe is manufactured to AS/NZS4130 and is readily accepted by all authorities.

All PPI PE pipe factories are licensed to use the Australian Standards Watermark in the branding of our AS/NZS4130 pipes.

PPI also manufactures PE pipe for electrical and communication uses

PPI’s ongoing success can be attributed to its ability to form strategic alliances with customers in all market segments.
