Mr Sampermans, currently the Senior Project Development Engineer, will be discussing how to overcome safety challenges on major sewer rehabilitation projects.
He has had seven years project experience in the Australian wastewater and reuse industry, starting his Australian career as a project engineer with EMT JV for Sydney Water’s Lower SWSOOS Project.
Mr Sampermans holds two master degrees in environmental engineering and industrial science, in biochemistry, from Belgium. He has also obtained a certificate in international marketing management.
Prior to his time in Australia, Mr Samperman spent three years in business-to-business marketing and product development throughout Europe.

He continued his career working as a senior design engineer for Earth Tech Engineering, which is now known as Aecom.
During four years in the consulting industry, Mr Samperman also further specialised in the sewer rehabilitation, water harvesting and wastewater recycling industry.
Mr Samperman joined WIG through the the business development team while also continuing to develop his technical expertise in the sewer rehabilitation industry.
