ITS Trenchless
ITS Trenchless provides a broad range of world’s best practice technologies for the installation and renovation of pipelines and structures. At Trenchless Live 2010 ITS Trenchless will showcase these unique technologies including Swagelining, Sprayroq’s Spraywall Structural Coating and Point-Lining.
ITS intends to conduct a demonstration of the Swagelining Process with a mini swage rig so visitors get a practical view of the technology. The company is also hoping to provide field demonstrations of the application of Spraywall and Point-Lining.
Swagelining™ is a rehabilitation process for the renewal of pressure and non pressure pipelines in water, sewer and industrial applications. Projects have been completed for Sydney Water and SA Water. Swagelining uses PE pipe, which has an outside diameter slightly larger than the pipe to be rehabilitated. After sections of PE pipe are butt fused together to form a continuous string, the PE pipe is pulled through a reducing dye to temporarily reduce diameter. This allows the PE pipe to be easily pulled through the host pipe. After the PE pipe is inserted, the pulling force is removed, allowing the PE pipe to return naturally toward its original diameter until it presses closely against the wall of the host pipe. The new tight fitting pipe results in a flow capacity close to the original pipeline design. This method does not rely on the structural integrity of the old pipe.

Sprayroq Protective Lining Systems-SprayWall is a self-priming polyurethane coating which reinstates structural integrity, provides infiltration control and chemical resistance for concrete, steel, masonry, fiberglass and other surfaces. SprayWall is ideally designed for applications on surfaces that are exposed to acids, corrosives and other caustic elements such as manholes, wet wells and pipelines (man entry only). SprayWall is a tough, corrosion and abrasion resistant coating that can be spray applied at any desired thickness in a single mobilisation. Its quick curing time allows the newly protected structure to be returned to service immediately after the application is completed.
The Point-Liner® system for the localised repair of water, sewer, stormwater and industrial pipelines, consists of a two component polyurethane resin specially designed for sewer renovation, impregnated into a multi-layered fibreglass mat, specially designed for use in sewer environments. The resin will adhere to concrete, stoneware, VC pipe and PVC. It is installed into the pipeline following robotic preparation and cleaning of the pipe via special packers for installation at the pipeline defect.
