Unitywater is completing the rehabilitation works as part of its plan to maintain the area around the Buderim Forest Park waterfall.

The waterfall was recently reopened after being closed since January because stormwater infiltrated the sewerage system through aged pipelines and illegal or improper household connections.

Unitywater said it was reopened after tests found the water quality had returned to normal levels.
