This course will be led by ISTT Chairman and Professor at the Arizona School of Engineering, Dr Samuel Ariaranam.

This course provides an introduction to HDD applications, discussion on equipment involved in the process, recommended planning criteria, drilling fluid applications, and demonstration of environmental benefits. The objective of this course is to provide contractors, engineers, suppliers, and owners with information that will assist and facilitate successful HDD installations.
Structural Main Renewal
This course will be taken by leading expert Professor and Director of Construction Engineering Management Technology Dr Tom Iseley, who is the founding director of the North American Society for Trenchless Technology.
The workshop presents an overview of water pipeline condition assessment and renewal technologies. It will describe the development process for fully structural cured-in-place pipe renewal system, including the internal reinstatement of service taps. It will also present some of the latest developments in carbon fibre-reinforced plastics for pressure pipe. Several case studies will be presented.
