The event included four streams of papers as well as various workshops and seminars alongside a successful exhibition as well as the usual social functions and events.
Trenchless Australasia had a stand at the show and Editor Chris Bland found a lot of interest from US companies in this part of the world. The conference papers also provided a lot of lessons for down under and included a paper from New Zealand’s Watercare on sewer rehabilitation in Auckland.
Sonia Higgs from Event Planners was also in attendance gaining more support for Brisbane NO-DIG. Other antipodeans in attendance included David Fitzroy and Chris Frangos from Kembla Watertech.
The conference also included the NASTT annual awards. Outgoing NASTT Chairman Mark Bruce received the honour of being named Trenchless Person of the Year.
