The conference was held at the Charles Sturt University Convention Centre in Wagga Wagga from October 17-21 and focused on providing engineers and practitioners with practical skills and tools to assist in dealing with pipes.
Trenchless Australasia was represented at the event by Tim Thompson, and through the inclusion of the magazine in the delegate packs.
The theme for this year’s conference was “More for your money – doing more with less” and was chosen to highlight to delegates ways to get the most out of resources.
The success of Pipes Wagga confirms the need for such a “÷hands on conference’ that provides broad and practical information for the industry that is both informative and innovative.
The Pipes Wagga committee will continue to support the commitment to education and training programs through Pipes Wagga funding and will work towards providing all the components that make Pipes Wagga a success for 2007.
The conference organisers would like to thank all delegates, presenters, trade and field demonstration participants. It is the support from these people that makes Pipes Wagga such a success.
