Digga Australia is the largest Australian manufacturer and exporter of gearboxes and machinery attachments for the earthmoving machinery industry. Universal Augers Australia, formerly known as Pengo Australia, is a manufacturer of auger drilling tools and accessories for the foundation, utility, fencing and agricultural sectors.
It is intended that the acquisition will allow Digga to develop a comprehensive product portfolio tailored towards the screw anchor, horizontal boring and utility market.
Digga Australia Managing Director and CEO Suzie Wright said “This is a strategic move to grow our product range within Australia and to combine the forces of these two highly respected companies to further develop the UK and European arms of our businesses.”
International Augers Australia will now occupy Digga’s manufacturing facility in Brisbane, Australia.
