Hydro-Digga is a Coffs Harbour-based company owned by Anthony and Emma Lane supplies hydro excavation and drain cleaning services to councils, government authorities and businesses throughout New South Wales. Hydro-Digga’s fleet of vehicles includes a Combo unit, a hydro excavation unit, and now the Danish RECyclerå¨ 412 unit built on a Scania R420 8×4 chassis. The RECycler unit is set up for sewer and drain cleaning, high volume vacuum operation and hydro excavation.
Sewer Equipment Company Australia (SECA) is Australia’s leading supplier of equipment for cleaning, testing, inspection and rehabilitation of sewers and drains, and is a distributor of high-quality sewer cleaning vehicles from Danish manufacturer J. Hvidtved Larsen A/S. SECA is pleased to deliver yet another RECycler unit to the Australian market.
“The Larsen units offer the best technical specification and operational performance to meet the ever rising demands of the market. We are pleased to see that our customers agree with us,” says SECA General Sales Manager Lindsay Bennett.
The RECycler concept has been developed with focus on work environment, functionality, design, economy and quality. The unit is up to three times more efficient than a regular sewer cleaning unit as the jetting water is recycled. The polluted water is pumped out of the sludge tank before undergoing a three-step cleaning process which ensures the supply of jetting water for continuous operation. This recycling process represents a decreased impact on environmental and lower costs due to significantly lower fuel and water consumption.
J. Hvidtved Larsen A/S Managing Director Brian Stage says “We developed the RECycler in 2002 and it has proved to be a great success in our domestic as well as export markets.
“We are always working to actively contribute to the environmental development, domestically and abroad. At J. Hvidtved Larsen A/S, high quality and environmental awareness are key factors in the company business policy, and we are delighted that Hydro-Digga has joined the ever growing group of Australian water recycling professionals who have chosen J. Hvidtved Larsen A/S and SECA as their suppliers.”
