Great Southern Press has published the official ASTT magazine Trenchless Australasia since 2004, and in recent years has also taken the lead in organising ASTT events.
It is a unique partnership. Unlike many other publishing or events companies that operate at arm’s length with a tightly-defined focus, Great Southern Press takes full responsibility for its products and as a result has become an integral part of the industry. The team behind the magazine and events are well known and personally involved in everything the company does.
The past six years has seen the magazine and the ASTT grow in partnership and the new agreement should ensure similar success for the events.
The Events Agreement will mean that Great Southern Press will now have an exclusive licence to produce the ASTT’s National Conferences under an arrangement that provides for long-term certainty for both parties and ensures that the interests of the ASTT and its members are paramount, while allowing new developments and innovations.
The Agreement was recently signed in Christchurch, with ASTT President Trevor Gosatti commenting that “The Society has been very happy in recent years with its involvement with Great Southern Press in the publishing of the Trenchless Australasia quarterly magazine and in the promotion and organising of the various trenchless conferences and exhibitions. The new agreement will provide certainty and security for both parties moving forward to continue to provide even higher quality events for the trenchless industry.”
Great Southern Press Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Trenchless Australasia, Chris Bland, said “We love being a part of the trenchless industry, and look forward to working with the ASTT to deliver fantastic events for many years to come.”
