Pipeline pigs were used to clear choking debris from the 7.5 km sewer main and pumping efficiencies were restored to peak levels.
The pipeline pigs were tracked using state-of-the-art pig locating and tracking equipment. The project was completed in two days and within budget.
The companies have completed pigging services projects on pipelines ranging in size from 50-2,400 mm normal bore diameter over the past 20 years.
