NZ pipeline relocation contact awarded

The realignment involves two pipelines, including one of large diameter, with HDDs anticipated to be in the order of 1.8 km each.

The project is being undertaken to protect the integrity of the pipelines from coastal erosion through the region.

The project will enlist the service capabilities of both OSD’s New Zealand and Victorian offices, who are working in conjunction with Canadian HDD specialists Entec on the project.

OSD Pipelines New Zealand General Manager Rene D’Ath is working as client liaison for the project due to the complexity of the geographical spread of the project team. OSD Pipelines Victoria General Manager Paul Roberts is project managing the engineering aspects of the work.
