SunWater is seeking expressions of interest for the construction of 110 km of predominantly 750 mm diameter DICL water pipeline, and associated pump station works, running from Gorge Weir on the Burdekin River and extending south to supply water to new coal mines in the northern Bowen Basin.
Total project costs are estimated at over $A200 million, and it is anticipated that construction would commence in 2013 and be completed by 2014.
