Visionstream has been awarded a 19 month contract for the work that includes design, construction and commissioning of the pit, pipe and fibre optic cable within the Temporary Transit Fibre Network for all new developments and estates across the two states.
General Manager of Visionstream Allan Bradford said “We are pleased to secure another package of work on this nation building infrastructure project, expanding the NBN Co even further into new homes and estates across Victoria and Queensland.”
“There is a high demand for this work as both Queensland and Victoria have some of the largest growth corridors in Australia. This contract will enable Visionstream to meet the needs of these new developments that are waiting for high speed broadband connections.”
In January 2012, NBN Co appointed Visionstream to build the first stage of NBN Co’s transit network.
