Neil is Yarra Valley Water’s Divisional Manager for Infrastructure Planning, responsible for the management of Yarra Valley Water’s $A7 billion worth of assets.
Neil’s division establishes the investment – around $A100 million annually – as well as the methodology in managing these assets. The division is constantly looking for ways for Yarra Valley Water to improve the value of the community it serves.
Neil has been with Yarra Valley Water for eleven years, and for seven of these he managed Asset Creation, Yarra Valley Water’s capital delivery division. As such he has a unique insight into asset management practices of the water industry and how they relate to the construction industry, in particular to trenchless technologies.
In his presentation, Neil will outline Yarra Valley Water’s asset management plan – what is involved, how plans are developed, the budgets, and the opportunities for trenchless technologies, including how they have been successful for Yarra Valley Water.
