RD7000䋢+ utility cable and pipe locator

The RD7000+ Cable and Pipe Locator’s focus on core user requirements by incorporating Dynamic Overload Protection to improve locating performance in electrically noisy areas and Compass, which determines and displays the orientation of the target cable or pipe, simplifying route determination and helping to improve depth measurement accuracy.

The RD7000+ range consists of four locators, each tailored to a specific industry: construction, water and pipeline, power, and telecommunications.

RD8000䋢 universal precision cable and pipe locator

The RD8000 is ergonomically designed delivering a light-weight, energy efficient and exceptionally well balanced tool, which encourages extended use. The locator and transmitter feature a large, high contrast, backlit LCD screen that provides the user with clear information in virtually any light conditions. The intuitive and responsive interface is designed so the operator can access any feature with ease.

The RD8000 is the high-end feature model designed for multiple applications and industries.

Does your equipment have these essential features?

  • Top-quality detection

Research spanning 30 years has enabled Radiodetection to develop a measurement engine combining new and innovative algorithms with established software on a high-performance processor core. Centros䋢 improves location accuracy and repeatability and delivers timely responsiveness in the field.

  • Visualisation

A compass provides the operator with a reliable visual indication of the target cable or pipe’s direction. With this feature, the operator can easily follow the target line and then position the locator correctly to maximise depth accuracy.

  • Dynamic overload protection (DOP)

Radiodetection says DOP extends the locator’s area of operation into electrically noisy environments. DOP has advantages for locating in areas of electromagnetic interference, such as power sub-stations and beneath high voltage transmission lines and overhead or railway cables.
