Mr Randell will discuss the way in which restrained joint PVC-U pipe eliminates any need for pipe strings. The method allows a significantly smaller work footprint, with lower impact over other recognised trenchless methods, including horizontal directional drilling, slip lining, guided auger boring and microtunnelling.

Todd Randell is a Technical Sales Engineer working for Iplex Pipelines in New Zealand.
He has 29 years of experience operating within the water and pipeline market sector. During his working career he has developed a broad knowledge of concrete, ductile iron and thermoplastic pipeline materials. He is a certified butt-fusion jointing/welding technician and a licensed fusion trainer for fusible PVC pipe, endorsed by Underground Solutions, US.
He conducts industry training programs, operating as a tutor presenting for the Water Industry Training Organisation in New Zealand. Mr Randell has a strong interest in Trenchless Technology and has worked on construction sites throughout New Zealand, Australia and the US.
