Mr Wilson will outline three case studies, demonstrating how selecting the most appropriate technique for a project during early planning avoids placing contractors in situations where they are forced to take greater risks than were otherwise required, or operate less-effectively than with another technique.
About the speaker
Rick Wilson has worked in the construction industry for 20 years and has been able to use this time to experience a diverse range of works from microtunnelling, thrust boring, horizontal directional drilling, surveying, drainage and road construction. Rick has stood on most sides of the contracting fence, from design, project and construction management to site supervision; and has worked for small, mid and first tier companies.
Rick’s current role is Trenchless Project Manager for Trenchless Technology contractor UEA.
