About the speaker

Professor Keh-Jian Shou has worked in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan since 1994. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, US in 1993.

He has previously worked as Senior Principal Engineer with Shannon & Wilson, Seattle, US as Visiting Professor with the Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Technical University, US; as Visiting Professor at the Research Center for Urban Safety and Security at Kobe University, Japan; as a research engineer for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Miningtek, South Africa; and as a geotechnical engineer for the National Expressway Engineering Bureau, Taiwan.
