Mr Skipper will present on detecting pipeline defects using innovative scanning technology. Mr Skipper’s presentation will discuss the approach and findings of a research project undertaken in the City of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, US, to field test an emerging technology for inspecting sanitary sewer lateral pipes, known as Electro Scan.

Gary Skipper works at Brown and Caldwell, an environmental, engineering and alternate delivery construction firm with more than 50 offices in the US. Gary is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries. He serves as Vice President of Infrastructure Monitoring and Assessment and leads Brown and Caldwell’s pipeline inspection and condition assessment practices for wastewater collection, raw water transmission, potable water distribution, and storm drainage systems.
