CH2M HILL, global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, has appointed Mark Pettigrew to the role.
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering across many markets, including transport and resources. He spent 15 years at Queensland Department of Main Roads in senior management including key delivery roles.
In 2004 Mark joined AECOM, where he played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the award winning Tully Alliance Project, a major upgrade to the Bruce Highway in Queensland, which received local, regional, national and international recognition. Until recently Mark was AECOM’s Managing Director for Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia.
CH2M HILL has an established reputation in Australia in the water, environmental and power delivery markets through projects such as the Gippsland Water Factory, Hunter River remediation and the Darling Downs power station.
Recently, the company was named as one of Melbourne Water’s preferred contractors that will play a significant role in delivering its capital projects, which involve several significant water supply projects over the next five years.
The company is also widely experienced internationally in the delivery of complex, large scale projects and programs – infrastructure for the London Olympics was a recent major success.
