Construction management firm appoints new General Manager Water

Having commenced working with Parsons Brinckeroff in its Brisbane office in 1994, Mr Toomey’s appointment to General Manager Water is a significant step forward for the international infrastructure leader.

Parsons Brinckerhoff Director Resources and Utilities, Government and Power, Mark Dimmock said the appointment comes during a key growth period for the firm.

“Dean is no stranger to leadership and has extensive experience leading complex projects that require the mobilisation of large, multidisciplinary project teams.

“In addition, he has played a key role in formulating a comprehensive strategy for the water business that leverages the strength of our Group and is committed to its successful implementation to cement our position as a leader in the Australian and New Zealand water market.”

Mr Toomey’s move into the General Manager Water role will enable Parsons Brinckeroff to continue diversifying in order to leverage Balfour Beatty capabilities across Asset Intelligence Solutions technology, which aims to enhance efficiency and capital maintenance programs.
