The company, which owns and operates the water and sewerage business in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) as ACTEW Water and is a 50 per cent owner of energy company ActewAGL, employs a workforce of 400 and maintains an asset base of $A3 billion. Icon Water Chairman Dr Michael Easson said he was pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Knox to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following Mr Knox’s appointment to the position 12 months ago as an interim measure. The recommendation to appoint Mr Knox in the position of CEO, as well as to the role of the director of the subsidiaries of Icon Water Limited, will be put to the company’s voting shareholders.
