The new entity will operate as GHD from July 2015, with Conestoga-Rovers & Associates adopting the GHD name and brand across its family of companies, including subsidiary Inspec-Sol.
The integration has created one of the world’s largest privately-owned engineering, environmental and construction services companies, with a workforce of more than 8,500 people globally and 4,000 in the US and Canada.
GHD CEO Ian Shepherd said the merger was one of the largest to occur in the engineering industry and positioned the company for further growth.
“We have added significant growth and scale to our business, while retaining the advantages of our private, employee-ownership business model for creating value for our clients and people,” he said.
