Tender: CIPP, CCTV and relining in Portland

Cured-in-place pipelining is one of the recommended trenchless techniques for part of the tender.

The works include but are not necessarily limited to: “¢

    Participation in site inspections with the principal as required in the investigation/design phase

“¢

    Conducting CCTV pre inspections of the sewers to be lined prior to lining works commencing

“¢

    Design of new sewer liner

“¢

    Submit proposed lining method and pipe or liner class to superintendent for approval

“¢

    Cleaning of sewers to be lined prior to commencement of lining works

“¢

    Rehabilitation of up to 18 sites, totalling approximately 3,032 m of sewer

“¢

    Reinstatement of property connections

“¢

    Sealing between the pipe liner and property connections

“¢

    Repair of localised damaged sections of pipe using CIPP technology or an alternative technique

“¢

    Supply and delivery to site of all materials, plant and equipment for sewer relining

“¢

    Bypass pumping/flow control of sewers and property connections during the works

“¢

    Acceptance testing of sewers

“¢

    Providing pre- and post-rehabilitation CCTV footage and reports for all rehabilitated sewers

“¢

    Site cleanup and restoration

“¢

    Participation in final inspections and/or attending to outstanding items or defects.
