Trenchless Australasia establishes new Editorial Board

Members of Trenchless Australasia‘s Editorial Board will draw on their individual expertise to provide guidance on editorial features and articles, with a view to providing readers with the most relevant, timely and useful information and articles to help their businesses grow, as well as the industry as a whole. The magazine will continue its core focus on industry news, products, projects and technologies, but with an added concentration on in-depth policy analysis, state-of-industry reports, and profiling leading industry executives.

The three newly-appointed Board Members all bring expertise in installation, rehabilitation, asset management, project management, project design and commercial matters related to trenchless projects, as well as drawing on experience across corporate and government sectors.

Board Members are invited for a term of one year (four magazine editions), with scope for re-appointment at the end of that time.

The inaugural Trenchless Australasia Editorial Board includes; Sudipta Basu, Principal Engineer at Sydney Water; Jeff Lawson, Sales Manager at Vermeer Australia; and Scott Stevens, Principal Engineer at Queensland Urban Utilities.

“I’m delighted to have such a well-respected and dynamic group of industry professionals to help us shape the magazine over the coming year,” says Trenchless Australasia Editor Tori McLennon.

“The set-up of this Editorial Board is an important step for the magazine. Since Trenchless Australasia was established more than ten years ago, we’ve drawn on the expertise of industry contributors to create a magazine that showcases the achievements of Australia and New Zealand’s no-dig industry, and create discussion around challenges and opportunities that are currently being faced.

“This Editorial Board formalises that process, and allows our editorial team to draw on the wealth of expertise of our Editorial Board members.”

Trenchless Australasia’s Editorial Policy:

  • Any company affiliated with a Board Member is not restricted from submitting articles or advertising in the magazine, however, they will not receive preferential treatment
  • Board Members’ current position, company and other relevant affiliations will be published in the magazine in every edition
  • Articles published by a Board Member or their company will specify their involvement in the Editorial Board at the end of the article.
