Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance (LoganWIA) officially commenced on 1 July 2015 and the team has not wasted any time putting some runs on the board. LoganWIA Program Manage Christian Truscott said “In our first three months of operation LoganWIA has welcomed and inducted team members, established an alliance Charter and performance measures, prepared a suite of management plans, and carried out a range of pre-construction activities to facilitate delivery of our 2015-16 works program. “At the same time, we have commenced an inflow and infiltration inspection program of the Rochedale South wastewater network, and are set to start the delivery of our first capital works projects next month,” he said. LoganWIA is set to deliver up to $A45 million of program works in its first year, including a combination of capital projects and renewals projects across the city. Construction activities scheduled to commence over the next couple of months include a water main replacement program and Bahrs Scrub wastewater conveyance (Stage 2A).
