SA Water nominated for international asset management award

The project that won SA Water the nomination was the Adelaide Metro Water Distribution Network, an AU$400 million initiative designed to supplement and expand the city’s growing water needs.

One of the standout features of the Water Distribution Network was the installation of the North South Interconnection System (NSIS), a system that allows large volumes of water to be transferred between Adelaide’s northern and southern water supplies.

As part of the nomination, representatives from SA Water will be asked to present a information on the project at the 2015 Year in Infrastructure Conference, which will be held in London in early November.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner after the presentations. SA water will be competing against London’s Network Rail and the US’s West Virginia Department of Transportation.
