Utility Week returns in November

It will be the 14th time the event has been held and it once again presents an opportunity to discuss the state of the industry with fellow industry professionals.

This year’s theme is ‘Building the infrastructure to support utilities operational excellence goals and future energy services’.

The strategy revolves around owning the Digital Utility ecosystem – from AMI infrastructure, to real-time Operational Excellence as it’s rolled out across the utility to better connect staff, the customer base and infrastructure partners.

The event supports the sector’s endeavours to build a sustainable energy future, as the utility industry faces many challenges.

The event will feature focus groups on AMI Asset Management, Solar and Storage, The Connected Utility, Preparing for Transformation and Customer Self Servicing Portals.

The Start-up Zone will showcase industry entrepreneurs who have been selected by a panel of experts to present to the audience, winner will be chosen by virtual investment by the audience.

Returning for the second time, The Innovation Zone will feature leading academics from Australia and around the world discussing and pushing the concepts of the event into new spaces, opening up valuable opportunities for utilities and technology vendors to take advantage of.

The content of the event will be profiled within ten topic streams: Maintenance & Operations, Smart Grid & Digital Meters, Analytics in Action, Solar Storage Integration, Energy Management, Smart Buildings & The Smart Grid, Metering Services, The Internet of Things, Solar Storage Customers, The Customer Focused Utility.
