Ditch Witch FXT truck mounted vacuum excavators

The machines support a variety of different jobs from remote to urban, large to small sites, and support different applications through hydro and air excavation techniques.

Today, Ditch Witch offers a broad range of different vacuum excavation models, including truck and trailer-mounted excavators.

The FXT line of truck vacuum excavators can be mounted directly to a truck’s frame rails, allowing the system to flex independently, promising improved stability and manoeuvrability over trailer mounted excavators.

The truck mounted models have a compact footprint, suited to tight job sites often found in urban areas.

Designed with the capacity to tow and haul other equipment to a job site, these machines also help operators save costs by requiring fewer vehicles onsite.

The line of truck excavators are one of the few machines on the market capable of this feature.

The versatile line-up includes the FXT30 and FXT30 Air, FXT50 and FXT50 Air, and the newest FXT65 and FXT65 Air models.

The air models are powered by air and water systems, giving operators the flexibility to adapt to changing job site demands and effectively perform in a range of soils.

The models range in power from 24.8-74 hp and are available with vacuum tanks ranging from 1,900 litre to the newest 4,500 litre model that will ship later this year.

DitchWitch_VacEx2The FXT65 air excavator is the newest addition and is the most productive unit in the range.

Compared to other machines in its class, the FXT65 has the highest airflow, improving performance and is equipped with high powered, air and water excavation capabilities.

The machine is ideal for locating utilities in below grade work sites and offers a wider range of excavation capabilities by minimising spoil removal and allowing operators to focus on excavating efficiently and effectively.
