ASTT makes new appointments at AGM

Victorian Councillor Chris Frangos was elected as the new ASTT President, while Bamser’s Ben Crosby took up the role of ASTT Vice President.

In addition to these appointments, Mott Macdonald’s Blair Telfer took up the role of New Zealand Councillor.

The role of President and New Zealand Councillor was previously held by Steve Apeldoorn, who stepped down after a two-year tenure; Mr Frangos previously held the role of Vice President.

The event was hosted at Park Royal Hotel at Melbourne Airport on Thursday 27 April.

All society members are welcome to attend these meetings, and are encouraged to give feedback to their local Councillors on the work the society is doing.

Full minutes from the meeting are publicly available on the ASTT website.

In addition to the AGM, the ASTT also hosts a series of Technical Forums in New Zealand, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

These Technical Forums serve as a regular touch point for society members, and give the opportunity to learn more about local projects and advances in technology.
