TRACTO-TECHNIK reveals changes to Australian business

At a recent meeting at the group’s headquarters in Lennestadt, Germany it was announced that TT ASIA PACIFIC’s long-standing Managing Director Tom Hughes had decided to retire.

Mr Hughes, who had occupied the role since 2000, will be replaced by Jeffery Rose, a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the international construction equipment industry.

He has previously held various managerial positions in sales and product management, in Australia and the US.

TRACTO-TECHNIK acknowledged the accomplishments of Mr Hughes during his almost twenty years at TT Asia Pacific and thanked him for his relentless dedication and efforts in the development of the markets “Down Under”.

“We are very happy to have found a suitable successor to Tom on a personal and professional level in Jeffrey Rose,” said TRACTO-TECHNIK Managing Director of Sales and Marketing Uwe Prinz.

“The markets there still have lots of potential for our trenchless technologies that we will specifically exploit under Jeffrey’s management.”

Speaking to the credentials of his predecessor, Mr Hughes said, “Jeffrey was the stand out and best choice among several highly-qualified candidates; this goes for his professional qualifications as well as for his interpersonal skills.”

It was also revealed that TT ASIA PACIFIC would also change its name to TRACTO-TECHNIK Australia, to highlight its affiliation to the TRACTO-TECHNIK Group and benefit from its international branding.

As well as Australian representatives, the meeting was attended by Managing Directors of TRACTO-TECHNIK’s sister companies in the UK, France, Morocco and the US.

The second meeting of this kind to be hosted in 2017, it focused on the digitalisation of company processes, products and services, as well as the steps in sales, marketing and after-sales for the enhanced development of TRACTO-TECHNIK’s Trenchless Technology products on the international market.
