Vermeer unveils new Brisbane dealership
Vermeer Australia has celebrated the unveiling of its new Brisbane dealership with an event attended by customers and international dignitaries.
The new building, which took 6 months to construct, is situated on a 20,000 m2 block in Richlands, 16 km southwest of the Brisbane CBD, and brings all of Vermeer’s Brisbane sales, parts counter and service staff, as well as the company’s national administrative team, into the one location.
Chair of the Board of Vermeer Corporation Mary Vermeer Andringa attended the event and was on hand to officially open the new dealership, along with husband and Vermeer shareholder Dale Andringa.
RDO Equipment Co. CEO and Chair Christi Offutt and Executive Vice President International Business Ryan Offutt were also in attendance, representing Vermeer Equipment Holding’s international partners.
Vermeer said the new location offers many benefits, including a better retail experience for its customers.
The purpose-built showroom enables customers to experience a range of Vermeer equipment, and even for arborists to test harnesses and other equipment in a purpose-built area.
A dedicated training facility allows both conferences and hands-on equipment training for up to 50 participants, reflecting Vermeer’s equipment to ongoing staff development and plans for an increase in engaging in-house customer events.
The building also features dedicated workshop zones for large track equipment, equipment testing, component overhaul, fabrication, welding and paint operations, as well as a significantly expanded parts warehousing capacity.
The new dealership is located at 147 Archerfield Road, Richlands.
