Mr Allan has more than 30 years’ experience as a professionally qualified engineer, operations and project manager.
During his career he has held senior roles in the utilities, mining and communications industries around the world.
Mr Allan has recently returned to Victoria, having spent the past 11 years in Western Australia.
DBYD said he has a thorough understanding the importance and value of its service and is looking forward to supporting and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and zero harm.
In his role, Mr Allan will report directly to DBYD CEO Stuart Burdack and will be responsible for supporting Mr Burdack in all operational, strategic and commercial aspects of the business, ensuring the smooth operation of the national office and providing assistance to operational staff.
