Registrations open for ASTT NZ Trenchless Technical Forum

The event will run in the afternoon, as opposed to country’s traditional breakfast format, with the specific intention of attracting more contractors.

The forum will feature an in-depth presentation from representatives of the City Rail Link (CRL), the largest infrastructure project ever to be undertaken in the New Zealand.

The project includes the construction of a 3.45 km twin-tunnel underground rail link up to 42 m under Auckland.

The CRL is using extensive microtunnelling works to complete utility relocation on the project before tunnel boring machines can move in to excavate the twin tunnels.

The event will also feature a presentation by the ASTT Microtunnelling Special Interest Group Chair Jim Shooter on the group’s activities, as well as a presentation from Terry Fuller of AMC Drilling Optimisation.

The educational presentations will be followed by a networking session, accompanied by refreshments and canapes.

The forum is made possible by the generous sponsorship of AMC and HydroTech.

Registration for the Technical Forum is NZ$75 (AU$69) for ASTT members and NZ$95 (AU$88) for non-members, including GST.
