Interflow appoints NZ General Manager

Blair Telfer.

Mr Telfer will oversee and be responsible for the company’s operations and business development activities in New Zealand, ensuring all work is completed to the highest levels of quality, safety and with environmental control, but also that the business has enduring sustainability and growth.

He is also the ASTT Councillor for New Zealand, a role he has occupied since early 2017.

Interflow has had a presence in New Zealand since 2005 and in that time has grown and brought a range of new innovations to the marketplace,” said Mr Telfer.

“The company’s strategy is to continue this growth, service all areas of the country and be at forefront of new and innovative products and solutions, to help our clients achieve their needs and goals.”

Mr Telfer said he is excited to be a part of Interflow’s growth in the country.

“I was attracted by the opportunity to be part of a leading company with strong brand recognition in New Zealand and Australia and had expansion plans in New Zealand.

“I am keen to be a part of what will be a successful growth period in the region.”

Mr Telfer has been involved in New Zealand’s trenchless and pipeline rehabilitation industry since 2001, when he was first exposed to no-dig methods while working as a consultant for AWT.

Prior to joining Interflow, he had been employed by Mott MacDonald for approximately two years; prior to that, Mr Telfer had been with ProjectMax since 2008.
