Mr Jones has been involved in industry for 30 years, managing and delivering services to the construction, civil, infrastructure, utilities, government, mining, oil and gas sectors.
Over the past 15 years, he has held various senior positions with Barry Bros, Toxfree and Solo Resource Recovery, where his focus has been on industrial services and waste management.
KOR welcomed Mr Jones to the business, where he will contribute his knowledge of applications across industrial service streams, high pressure water jetting, vacuum loading, drain cleaning, non-destructive digging and other specialist areas.
He is a current board member of the Australasian High Pressure Water Jetting Association (AUSJET), which aims to create a safer water blasting industry through the development of national standards and nationally accredited training.
Through AUSJET, Mr Jones has been involved with the development of industry training and the implementation of skills sets along with the rest of the AUSJET Board of Management.
He currently also holds the position of Chair for Standards Australia Committee SF043, which was responsible for the revision of AS/NZS 4233 Parts 1 and 2 for High Pressure Water Jetting, documents providing guidelines for safe operation and maintenance, construction and performance in the jetting industry.
