Abergeldie manager supports charity

Organised by the St Vincent de Paul Society, the campaign raises funds and increases awareness of homelessness throughout the community.

Mr Reolon said it was an important cause to get behind.

“One way that we can help build better communities is to show our support and raise awareness about homelessness,” he said.

Mr Reolon’s page has raised more than AU$2,500 with more than a week to go until the sleepout takes place on Thursday 30 August.

The participants volunteer to sleep rough for a night, given only a sheet of cardboard to sleep on, a cup of soup and a warm drink.

The initiative is free to participate and volunteers can set up a fundraising page in order for sponsors to contribute to the cause.
