Southern-Tinamba Modernisation Project – Stage 4 Pipeline Installation

Description: Southern-Tinamba Modernisation (STM) Project – Stage 4 Pipeline Installation Works. Lockerbie Main Sewer Stage 1 expressions of interest

Description: Yarra Valley Water is looking for potential contractors to construct the new Lockerbie Main Sewer (LMS). The LMS is part of the sewerage servicing strategy for the Northern Growth Corridor, servicing areas north of Donnybrook Road. LMS will comprise approximately 9,200 m of DN 750 to DN 1200, with approximately 30 maintenance holes. From connection at the end of the existing Amaroo Main Sewer, the sewer will follow the Melbourne to Sydney Rail Line on the east side, heading north to Minton Street where it crosses the rail line and then heads north for about 1 km on the west side of the rail line. There is expected to be a mix of open-cut and trenchless construction methods required.

Water jet cleaning/CCTV inspections of sewer mains and branches and stormwater pipes/culverts

Description: Council’s objective tenders are invited for provision of water jet cleaning and CCTV inspections of sewer mains and branches and stormwater pipes/culverts. The work under the contract includes but is not limited to:

  1. Water jet cleaning of (a) sewer mains from manhole to manhole/dead end/line junctions and shaft/branches, and (b) stormwater pipes and culverts from or to pits or open ends.
  2. CCTV inspection of (a) sewer mains from manhole to manhole/dead end/line junctions and shaft/branches, and (b) stormwater pipes and culverts from or to pits or open ends.
  3. Supply video recordings, electronic data, written reports, and conditional log sheets of the sewer mains or stormwater pipes or culverts.
  4. Supply video recordings and written reports of the condition of shaft/branches.
  5. Clearing of sewer chokes using water jetting and root cutters.
  6. The removal of silt/debris from sewer mains, manholes and other wastewater and stormwater assets (including gross pollutant traps) as well as excavations using a combination jet/vacuum truck and associated jetting nozzles.
  7. Cleaning, inspection and reporting on the condition of manholes.
  8. Non-destructive digging for service location or more extensive excavation (intended to be a very minor component of this contract).

Water Main Replacement – Munnell Street Gulargambone

CPBJH JV – West Gate Tunnel Project – any opportunities
