Transport infrastructure conference returning to Melbourne

The annual event is one of Victoria’s largest transport infrastructure conferences, attracting upwards of 250 delegates each year.

Following the success of past events, the theme of this year’s conference is ‘Transporting Victoria forward’.

In 2019, the Victorian Transport Infrastructure Conference will feature presentations that discuss the prioritisation, planning and delivery of critical transport infrastructure across the state.

The first day of the event will include a speed networking session, as well a presentation by West Gate Tunnel Authority CEO Peter Sammut who will provide anupdate the West Gate Tunnel Project.

John Holland Project Director Jill Boag will also make a presentation on the Melbourne Metro Early Works.

The second day of the conference will feature a ministerial address by Victorian Minister for Transport Infrastructure Jacinta Allen, and a panel discussion on the need for expansive transport infrastructure projects to best serve the state economically, environmentally and sustainably.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with project managers, operators, contractors, consultants and investors, as well as meeting a range of policy makers, senior level experts and government officials to discuss major transport infrastructure projects currently occurring as well as those in the pipeline for the state.
