The biennial awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the Australasian trenchless industry.

The deadline for nominations is 1 July 2019.

Categories

The five categories for nomination are outlined below; nominees must be current members and member companies.

Rehabilitation Project of the Year

This award recognises innovation, advancements in technology, environmental benefits and occupational health and safety benefits in rehabilitation projects using trenchless technology.

Projects must have commenced and been completed between 1 October 2017 and 31 July 2019.

New Installation Project of the Year

This award recognises innovation, advancements in technology, environmental benefits and occupational health and safety benefits in new installation projects using trenchless technology.

Projects must have commenced and been completed between 1 October 2017 and 31 July 2019.

New Technology: Machine, Tool, Material, System or Technique

This award recognises the practical development of trenchless systems or equipment that result in benefits such as improved economy, accuracy, speed of drive or replacement, ability to overcome difficult installations, or similar.

ASTT Person of the Year

This award recognises an individual (aged 37 or over on 1 September 2019) who has made major and sustained contributions to the trenchless industry.

The successful applicant will have gone above and beyond the call of duty to grow, develop and promote the use of trenchless technology across Australasia and the world.

ASTT Young Person of the Year

This award recognises the important role younger members (aged 36 or under on 1 September 2019) of the Australasian trenchless community play in the growth of the industry by engaging with the industry and promoting trenchless technology, making significant contributions over the past two years.

Submissions must be no longer than 500 words and meet the criteria listed on the No-Dig Down Under website.

The awards will be presented at the ASTT Gala Dinner and Awards Evening on Thursday 12 September.
