Water main installation using trenchless

The Water Corporation project, which caters for growth in the area, involves the installation of a 1.7 km, 700 mm diameter water supply pipeline along Pebble Beach Boulevard.

“To minimise disruption in the area as much as we can, we are installing the water main under the road, to reduce the impact on driveways, footpaths and verges along Pebble Beach Boulevard,” said Water Corporation Assets Delivery General Manager Nathan Hardwick.

Mr Hardwick said the pipeline will be an important piece of new infrastructure for residents in the area.

“The Meadow Springs and Lakelands area has quickly expanded over the past few years, and this new water main will help support this rapid growth,” he said.

The project will cost AU$3.2 million and is expected to be completed by September 2019.
